The spark in her eyes, the charm in her smile, the alertness in her face, the slenderness of her figure, the flowing costumes, all make her look like a 'Peacock'. Watching Deepika, you see a certain element of pride with grace.
In Om Shanti Om, I see Peacock dancing in the courtyard of King Khan's palace. The film is basically Shahrukh Khan's but Deepika managed to make her presence felt. Very much like its title, the heroine is the nucleus and she made such an impact that you see her in every scene. She is in fact the 'Peacock of Bollywood'.
No wonder she is the latest muse in the country. No wonder the likes of Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh adore her. But this is only the beginning, and she has a long way to go. Give Shanti a chance!
